Programs

Adult Leadership Application

ADULT LEADERSHIP – Established in 1995, Leadership Guernsey is a learning program for emerging and
potential leaders in Guernsey County. Its twofold purpose is to improve the attendees’
leadership skills and to provide a comprehensive examination of the workings of our
Guernsey County community.
The program is one day per month, starting in September and ending in May. The first
session covers team building and self-evaluation. The monthly sessions following
include topics concerning business and industry, quality of life/arts and tourism,
government, law enforcement and courts, media, medical, social services, education,
skills for leading, and a class project. Not only will the participants improve their
leadership skills, they will gain valuable insight about their community and can network
with a wide range of people.
